Caption:

A U.S. Navy EA-6B Prowler is refueled in flight by a U.S. Air Force KC-10 Extender over the Persian Gulf on March 3, 1998.  The Prowler is from Tactical Electronics Warfare Squadron 136 and is operating from the aircraft carrier USS Independence (CV 62). Independence and its embarked Carrier Air Wing 5 are on station in the Persian Gulf in support of Operation Southern Watch which is the U.S. and coalition enforcement of the no-fly-zone over Southern Iraq.  The Extender is attached to the 305th Air Expeditionary Group.  DoD photo by Staff  Sgt.
