Aboard USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) Sept. 14, 2003 -- An Aviation Boatswains Mate directs an S-3 Viking assigned to the "Screwbirds" of Sea Control Squadron Thirty Three (VS-33) onto one of four catapults on the flight deck aboard the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70), during the fly off of Carrier Air Wing Nine (CVW-9).  The Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group (CSG) is returning home, to the West Coast this week, following an eight-month deployment to the Western Pacific in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.  U.S. Navy Photo by Photographer's Mate 3rd Class Martin S.
