At sea aboard USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) Jan. 16, 2003 -- A plane director gives the "thumbs up" for launch to a S-3 Viking assigned to the "Scouts" of Sea Control Squadron Two Four (VS-24) on the ship's flight deck.  Roosevelt and her embarked Carrier Air Wing Eight (CVW-8) are currently underway conducting training missions in the Atlantic Ocean.
