The Mediterranean (Mar. 21, 2003) -- An S-3B Viking assigned to the
"Scouts" of Sea Control Squadron Two Four (VS-24) prepares to launch
from the flight deck aboard the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt
(CVN 71). Roosevelt and Carrier Air Wing Eight (CVW-8) are on
deployment conducting combat missions in support of Operation Iraqi
Freedom. Operation Iraqi Freedom is the multinational coalition effort
to liberate the Iraqi people, eliminate Iraq's weapons of mass
