An Air Combat Command E-8 J-STARS approaches the refueling boom of an
Air Mobility Command KC-135R assigned to the 92nd Air Refueling Wing
during a NATO Operation Allied Force mission over the Adriatic Sea.
Both the E-8C; who is assigned to Robins Air Force Base, Ga., as well
as the KC-135R; who is assigned to Fairchild Air Force Base, Wash., are
deployed to support the ongoing NATO Operation Allied Force. The
KC-135R is flying from Royal Air Force Mildenhall, England, under the
100th Air Expeditionary Wing, United States Air Forces Europe.
