The Pacific Ocean (May 8, 2003) - Cmdr. Gayland Smallwood and Lt. Cmdr. Pete Phillips assigned to the "Golden Gaters" of Helicopter Combat Support Squadron Eight Five (HC-85) make preparations to land the SH-3 Sea King on the flight deck of USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74).  The Golden Gaters are a Naval Reserve squadron supporting Stennis' operations off the coast of Southern California.
