Strait of Hormuz (April 19, 2005) -- A UH-1N Huey helicopter, assigned
to Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron One Six Five (HMM-165), prepares
to take off from the flight deck aboard the amphibious transport dock
USS Duluth (LPD 6). Duluth is currently transiting through the Strait
of Hormuz, signifying the end of their deployment to the Persian Gulf
and the last leg of her final underway period as a commissioned Navy
vessel. Upon completion of the deployment, Duluth is scheduled to be
decommissioned ending a 39-year life cycle as a U.S. Navy ship. U.S.
