Port Shueiba, Kuwait (Jul. 9, 2003) - A member of the Navy's cargo
handling and port group (NAVCHAPGRU) maintains a steady hold on a line
attached to an Amphibious Assault Vehicle (AAV) as it is lifted by
crane into the cargo bay of the military sealift command ship USNS
Charlton (T-AKR 314). The equipment is part of the 1st Marine
Expeditionary Force (1st MEF), which is returning to the U.S. after
participating in Operation Iraqi Freedom, a multinational coalition
effort to liberate the Iraqi people, eliminate Iraq's weapons of mass
