Amphibious assault vehicles from the AAV platoon, Battalion Landing Team, 1st Bn., 3rd Marines, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit sit under the Kuwaiti sun on Camp Buehring.  The MEU is deployed to Kuwait for desert acclimitization and sustainment training in preparation for possible actions in the U.S. Central Command area of operations in the Global War on Terrorism.
