ST. BERNARD PARISH, La. (Sep. 10, 2005) - Amphibious assault vehicles from 4th Amphibious Assault Battalion cruise down a canal in order to reach a remote part of the Parish to conduct search and rescue operations. The unique capabilities of the 'am-track' provided infantrymen from Bravo Company, 1/8 the ability to search hard-to-reach areas.
