NEW ORLEANS (Sep. 8, 2005) - Working hand-in-hand with civilian law enforcement, an amphibious assault vehicle from 4th Amphibious Assault Battalion maneuvers to a second story balcony to search for survivors. Since their arrival here Sep. 5, the Marines of Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force have rescued more than 78 people from areas in Orleans and St. Bernard Parishes.
