HAT YAO BEACH, Thailand -- U.S. Marines with Company E, Battalion
Landing Team, 2nd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, travel back to the
ocean to return back to the USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49), after
successfully conducting an amphibious raid exercise with members of the
Royal Thai Marine Corps here May 19. The amphibious raid is one of the
core training exercises that the Marines and sailors of the 31st Marine
Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable) will be conducting with
the Royal Thai Marine Corps during Exercise Cobra Gold 2006.
