FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- An Assault Amphibian Vehicle from the 2nd Assault Amphibian Battalion wades through the waters off the Florida coastline May 6 shortly before the Marines inside simulate seizing an enemy beachhead.  The Marine demonstration was one event to take place during the McDonald’s Air and Sea Show, a two-day military exposition in which each branch of service showcased their vehicles, personnel and capabilities before millions of civilians and tourists in the area.
