Port Shueiba, Kuwait (July 09, 2003) -- Personnel assigned to the Navy's cargo handling and port group (NAVCHAPGRU) maintains a steady hold on a tending line attached to an Amphibious Assault Vehicle  (AAV) as it is lifted by crane into the cargo bay aboard the Military Sealift Command ship USNS Charlton (T-AKR 314).  1st MEF and their equipment are returning home from deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.  U.S. Navy photo by Photographer's Mate 1st Class Arlo K.
