A Logisitics Vehicle System (LVS) is pulled out from the Bjugn Cave by a Norweigan worker, in preparation for movement to Estonia for use in Baltic Challenege '97. a Partenership for Peace exercise.  The U.S. Marine Corps has equipment stored in Norway, as part of the NALMEB Prepositioning Program.  The NALMEB program contains equipment and 30 days of supplies to support a 13,000 person Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF).  The Government of Norway is the on site "contractor", and provides storage, maintenance facilities and services, and security.  This gear is stored in a series of 6 caves, located in the Trondheim region of central Norway.
