The U.S. Marine Corps has equipment stored in Norway, as part of the Norway Air-Landed  Marine Expeditonary Brigade NALMEB Prepositioning Program.  The NALMEB program contains equipment and 30 days of supplies to support a 13,000 person Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF).  The Government of Norway is the on site "contractor", and provides storage, maintenance facilities and services, and security.
