QALAT SUKAR, Iraq -- Marines of the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable) delivered a freshly refurbished ambulance to town emergency officials. The ambulance, along with its occupants was seized at a checkpoint when Marines discovered its cargo of weapons, ammunition and stolen computer equipment. They gave the Russian-made ambulance a tune-up, and replaced the starter and ignition system with that of a High Mobility Multi-purpose Wheeled Vehicle.
