Christopher J. Bower, force protection officer, 24th MEU (SOC) and
Marines of 4th Civil Affairs Group attached to the 24th MEU, as they
discuss the needs of the police force in Al Rifa, Iraq and how those
needs can be met. One of the issues brought up was how to get the
policemen paid. They have the men. The men want to work, but since the
fall of the fall of their government who payed the policemen, they have
