Soldiers with 1st Battalion, 8th Infantry Regiment, Headquarters, Headquarters Command, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, out of Fort Carson, Colorado, deliver psychological operations messages in a village near Balad, Iraq on October 8, 2003. The 1-8 initiated a new curfew and was seeking information about an attack on a convoy that took place the previous day. The 4th Infantry Division is deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, the multinational coalition effort to liberate the Iraqi people and end the regime of Saddam Hussein.  (US Army photo by SGT Jack Morse)(Released)
