Port Shueiba, Kuwait (Jul. 9, 2003) - A U.S Marine humvee assigned to the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force (1st MEF) drives into the cargo bay of the military sealift command ship USNS Charlton (T-AKR 314).  The 1st MEF is returning to the U.S. after participating in Operation Iraqi Freedom, a multinational coalition effort to liberate the Iraqi people, eliminate Iraq's weapons of mass destruction and end the regime of Saddam Hussein.  U.S. Navy photo by Photographer's Mate 1st Class Arlo K.
