Kuwait Naval Base, Kuwait (Feb. 22, 2004) Ð Mobile sensor platforms assigned to Mobile Inshore Undersea Warfare Unit Two Zero Six (MIUW 206) provide multiple methods of surveillance of the beach and water at Kuwait Naval Base. Supplies are being ferried ashore via Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) deployed from the amphibious assault ships USS Boxer (LHD 4), and USS Bataan (LHD 5), during on-going troop rotations supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
