The first of more than 20 vehicles from Battalion Landing Team 1st Bn., 6th Marines, the ground combat element of the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable), emerges from a deep, fast-moving river insouth-central Afghanistan.  Further down the river, Afghan Militia Force trucks were carried across in ferry boats.
