Marines of the 3rd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment stand in their light
armored vehicles as they wait for the order to begin their trek through
Fallujah, May 10. Marines and members of the Iraqi Civil Defense
Corps and Iraqi police teamed up for a joint patrol through the
city. The joint missions brought about a meeting of Marines and
Fallujah officials to begin building a partnership for peace, and
redevelopment in areas throughout the city that received damage caused
