The memorial display for Cpl. Ronald Payne includes his the colors of the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable), a light armored vehicle, and rifle, helmet, boots, flag, and dog tags display.  Payne was serving with the light armored reconnaissance platoon of the MEU when he was killed in action May 7, 2004 during a firefight with Taliban insurgents near Tawara, Afghanistan.
