Caption:

A U.S. Marine Corps Light Armored Vehicle (LAV-25) maneuvers off the range at the conclusion of a live-fire training exercise at the Udairi Training Range in northern Kuwait on April 8, 2000.  The LAV-25 is an all-terrain, all-weather vehicle with night capabilities and is armed with a turret-mounted 25 mm chain gun, and a 7.62 mm machine gun.  The vehicle is capable of transporting six Marines inside the hull.  The LAV is attached to the 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit.  DoD photo by R.
