PACIFIC OCEAN (July 10, 2008) -- An MH-60S Seahawk assigned to the "Blackjacks" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 21 ferries supplies from the Military Sealift Command fast combat support ship USNS Bridge (T-AOE 10) to the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) during a replenishment at sea. More than 200 pallets of cargo were transferred onto Ronald Reagan during the replenishment, over 40 of which consisted of mail. The Ronald Reagan Carrier Strike Group is on a scheduled deployment in the 7th Fleet area of responsibility. Operating in the Western Pacific and Indian Ocean, the U.S. 7th Fleet is the largest of the forward-deployed U.S. fleets covering 52 million square miles, with approximately 50 ships, 120 aircraft and 20,000 Sailors and Marines assigned at any given time.
