Persian Gulf (June 8, 2006) -- The Military Sealift Command (MSC) fast combat support ship USNS Supply (T-AOE 6) comes alongside the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CVN 65) prior to a replenishment-at-sea. The Enterprise Carrier Strike group is currently deployed as part of a routine rotation of U.S. maritime forces in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom, as well as conducting Maritime Security Operations (MSO) in the region. MSO helps set the conditions for security and stability in the maritime environment as well as complement the counterterrorism and security efforts of regional nations.
