Gulf of Alaska (Jun. 12, 2004) -- Fuel transfer lines from the Military Sealift Command (MSC) fast combat support ship USNS Rainer (T-AOE 7) are consumed by rough Alaskan seas during an underway replenishment with the aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74). Stennis and embarked Carrier Air Wing Fourteen (CVW-14) are currently at sea participating in Exercise Northern Edge, during a scheduled deployment.
