NORFOLK, Va. (June 15, 2007) -- Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Comfort (T-AH 20) gets underway to take part in a multi-month humanitarian assistance deployment to the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility. During the deployment, Comfort Sailors expect to provide medical treatment to approximately 85,000 patients and more than a dozen countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.
