SOUTH CHINA SEA (May 9, 2008) -- Sailors assigned to the amphibious transport dock USS Juneau (LPD 10) and Marines from the 31st Marine Expedtionary Unit (MEU) heave the phone and distance line during a refueling at sea with the Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS Walter S. Diehl (T-AO 193). Juneau was participating in Cobra Gold 2008, a military exercise centered around a humanitarian assistance mission. The amphibious transport dock and the amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2) the amphibious transport dock ship USS Juneau (LPD 10), the amphibious dock landing ship USS Harpers Ferry (LPD 49) and the guided-missile destroyer USS Mustin (DDG 89) are moving to the Andaman Sea off the coast of Burma for potential humanitarian assistance operations in the wake of cyclone Nargis.
