GULF OF OMAN (Sept. 6, 2009) -- The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Gridley (DDG 101) approaches the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) for a fueling at sea, an evolution used in routine and emergency situations to fuel ships in the strike group.
