Pacific Ocean (May 4, 2006) - The guided-missile destroyer USS Curtis Wilbur (DDG 54) tows the guided-missile destroyer USS Stethem (DDG 63) during a towing exercise (TOWEX). Wilbur and Stethem are currently participating in Multi-Sail 2006. Multi-Sail is an exercise that allows ships in the Forward Deployed Naval Force to maximize their combat readiness level by participating in maneuvering exercises between ships and allows them to operate in a multi-ship environment.
