Pacific Ocean (Jan. 24, 2004) -- The guided missile destroyer USS John S. McCain (DDG 56) closes in on the bow of the guided missile cruiser USS Vincennes (CG 49) during a ship towing exercise.  After three hours of rigging, McCain will tow Vincennes at a speed of five knots for 15 minutes.  Vincennes is participating in Tailored Ship Training Availability (TSTA I).  During TSTA I, instructors from Afloat Training Group (ATG) Western Pacific, based in Yokosuka, Japan, conduct training in the ship's vital mission areas.  U.S. Navy photo by Photographer's Mate 2nd Class Brandon A.
