Pearl Harbor, Hawaii (Sep. 2, 2004) – Guided missile destroyer USS Russell (DDG 59) passes Hospital Point, Hawaii, after returning from a routine four-month deployment to the Western Pacific Ocean. Russell and her crew of more than 330 Sailors participated in the Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT), a series of exercises in Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Brunei and the Philippines.
