Russell (DDG 59) prepares to pull alongside the guided missile
destroyer USS McCampbell (DDG 85) after arriving for the Thailand phase
of exercise Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT). CARAT
2004 is a regularly scheduled series of bilateral military training
exercises with several Southeast Asian nations designed to enhance the
