Sulu Sea (Aug. 22, 2005) -- The guided missile destroyer USS Paul Hamilton (DDG 60) makes her way into position for a combined U.S. Navy and Philippine Navy task group formation during the at-sea phase of exercise Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) in the Philippines. CARAT is an annual series of bilateral military training exercises with several Southeast Asian nations designed to enhance the interoperability of the respective sea services.
