Pearl Harbor, Hawaii (Jan 24, 2007) -- Electronics Technician 3rd Class
Edward Mittelstaed, assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile
destroyer USS Paul Hamilton (DDG 60), climbs a ladder leading to the
Tactical Air Navigation Platform on the mast to perform pre-deployment
maintenance on the safety rails. Paul Hamilton and her crew are
currently making preparations to deploy as a member of the USS John C.
Stennis (CVN 74) Carrier Strike Group. Stennis and its strike group are
scheduled to enter 5th Fleet's area of operation and provide support to
