Philippines Sea (Oct. 24, 2006) -- The guided missile destroyer USS Stethem (DDG 63) prepares to go alongside the Military Sealift Command combat stores ship USNS Concord (T-AFS 5) and amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2) to perform replenishment at sea. Stethem is currently off the coast of the Philippines participating in bilateral exercises, Exercise Talon Vision and Amphibious Landing Exercise (PHIBLEX 07), with the armed forces of the Philippines.
