Philippine Sea (Oct. 23, 2006) - A visit, board, search, and seizure team assigned to guided-missile destroyer USS Stethem (DDG 63) and a Philippine Navy Special Operations Group (NAVSOG) prepare to conduct training off the coast of the Philippines. The two groups trained in close battle combat (CBC) and pier movement aboard an oil platform. Stethem is currently off the coast of the Philippines participating in bilateral exercises, Exercise Talon Vision (TV 07) and Amphibious Landing Exercise (PHIBLEX 07).
