Northrop Grumman Ship Systems, Ingalls Operations, Pascagoula, MS, (Apr. 19, 2002) -- The guided missile destroyer USS Cole (DDG 67) heads out to sea to rejoin the U.S. Navy fleet, following 14 months of repairs after a terrorist bomb blew a hole in the port side of the ship while refueling in the port city of Aden, Yemen, on Oct. 12, 2000, killing 17 sailors.  Pascagoula area pleasure fishermen out in their boats helped escort the Cole out to sea.  U.S. Navy photo by Stacey Byington.  (RELEASED)
