Atlantic Ocean (Dec. 3, 2003) -- The guided missile destroyer USS Cole (DDG 67) encounters heavy seas while transiting across the Atlantic.    This is USS Cole's first deployment since the October 12, 2000, terrorist attack in Yemen. The ship was repaired by the Navy's Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Repair and Conversion (SUPSHIP), Ingalls Shipyard, Pascagoula, Miss., for an estimated $250 million.  Cole is part of a three ship Surface Strike Group (SSG) assigned to USS Enterprise (CVN 65) Carrier Strike Group (CSG).  U.S. Navy photo by Intelligence Specialist 1st Class Brian T.
