Souda Bay, Crete, Greece (July 20, 2005) -- A Sailor sends over a
heaving line to the pier for the bow line as the guided missile
destroyer USS Mahan (DDG 72) arrives in Souda Bay for a routine port
visit. Mahan recently participated in FRUKUS ‘05, a
multilateral
fleet training and command post exercise with France, Russia, and the
United Kingdom in the eastern Atlantic Ocean. FRUKUS fosters an
environment of cooperation suitable to meet future operational
