Suez Canal (Mar. 16, 2004) -- The guided missile destroyer USS McFaul
(DDG 74) leads the dock landing ship USS Whidbey Island (LSD 41)
through the daylong transit of the Suez Canal. McFaul and Whidbey
Island are currently on deployment as part of Expeditionary Strike
Group Two (ESG 2), led by the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD
1). ESG 2 is the first ESG to deploy from the East Coast and is
currently on its way to the 5th Fleet Area of Responsibility (AOR).
