Norfolk, Va. (Aug. 24, 2005) -- The guided missile destroyer USS McFaul (DDG 74) sits pier-side on board Naval Station Norfolk after returning to her homeport following a collision with the guided missile destroyer USS Winston S. Churchill (DDG 81). The two ships collided Aug. 22 while conducting exercises off the coast of Jacksonville, Fla. Both ships experienced minor damage and no injuries.
