Mediterranean Sea (Jan. 14, 2003) -- The guided missile destroyer USS
Donald Cook (DDG 75) underway conducting missions in support of
Operation Enduring Freedom as part of a scheduled six month deployment
order. Guided missile destroyers are multi-mission, Anti-Air Warfare
(AAW), Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW), and Anti-Surface Warfare (ASUW)
surface combatants. Donald cook is part of the Carrier Battle Group
(CVBG) belonging to the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75).
