MUSCAT, Oman (July 3, 2007) -- Guided-missile destroyer USS O'Kane (DDG
77) pulls pier side during a scheduled port visit. O'Kane, as part of
the John C. Stennis Carrier Strike Group, is deployed in support of
maritime operations. Maritime operations help set the conditions for
security and stability in the maritime environment, as well as
complement counter-terrorism and security efforts of regional nations.
