At sea aboard USS Winston S. Churchill (DDG 81) Mar. 23, 2003 -- A
Tomahawk Land Attack Missile (TLAM) is launched from the guided missile
destroyer USS Winston S. Churchill. Winston S. Churchill is operating
in the eastern Mediterranean Sea conducting missions in support of
Operation Iraqi Freedom. Operation Iraqi Freedom is the multi-national
coalition effort to liberate the Iraqi people, eliminate Iraq’s
weapons of mass destruction, and end the regime of Saddam Hussein. U.S.
