PACIFIC OCEAN (April 24, 2008) -- Sailors aboard the guided-missile
destroyer USS Lassen (DDG 82) prepare their ship to pull along side for
a replenishment at sea with the Military Sealift Command fleet
replenishment oiler USNS Tippecanoe (T-AO 199) after the ship completes
a replenishment with the aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63).
Lassen, operating in the western Pacific with the Kitty Hawk Strike
Group is one of seven Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyers
assigned to Destroyer Squadron 15 operating from Yokosuka, Japan. U.S.
