Norfolk, Va. (June 8, 2006) -- The guided-missile destroyer USS Bulkeley (DDG 84) departs on a six-month deployment from Naval Station Norfolk. Bulkeley is deploying with the Iwo Jima Expeditionary Strike group (ESG) in support of the global war on terrorism, as well as conducting Maritime Security Operations in the region.
