At sea aboard USS Preble (DDG 88) Feb. 18, 2003 -- The forward Mark 45 Mod 4 lightweight gun (5" 62 cal.) is fired with live ammunition as the ship begins its Combat System Ships Qualification Test (CSSQT). Preble was commissioned on Nov. 9, 2002 and is the newest Arleigh Burke class destroyer.
